The Best Burger in Chatham, MA
1. Mom & Pops
Forget Chatham, this is the best burger joint on Cape Cod. Think Five Guys, but made by…yup, Mom and Pop.
An amazing beer selection, chill little outside area, and one of the best hot chicken sandwiches we’ve ever had - can’t recommend M&P’s enough.
2. The Red Nun
A cheeseburger on an english muffin is polarizing. It shouldn’t be, it’s delicious. If you disagree, don’t worry, you can get it on a bun too.
The “Nun” as the locals call it, is the best sports bar in chatham and has some excellent casual eats. They have another location in Dennis Port that is at least twice as big as the Chatham location (if it’s busy).
3. The Sacred Cod at Chatham Bars Inn
Hidden in the bowels of Chatham’s premier resort is a cozy little bar with one of the Cape’s best burgers (the french fries are amazing too).
Whether you’re staying at the resort or nearby, The Sacred Cod is a great place to get a casual lunch and watch a game. Full disclosure, expert resort prices. Be sure to take a walk around property and take in CBI.
4. Drifters
Drifters is one of our favorite all around restaraunts, think casual setting with high brow food. Their burger is definitly one of their best dishes.
A thick patty, plenty of fixens, and especially the pickled red onions make for a great cheeseburger. Wash it down with a local beer and thank us later.
5. Wequassett
Cape Cod’s only five star resort is a truly stunning atmosphere. On a sunny day, head to the Outer Bar & Grille and enjoy the amazing view of the bay. For a cozier atmosphere, check out their whiskey bar, Thoreau’s.
Both restaurants have the same burger and they’re both damn good. You shouldn’t leave Chatham without stopping by. FYI expect resort prices.
