The Best Coffee in Chatham, MA
Public Cafe
Probably the most slept on spot in Chatham has the town’s best cup of Joe. From ice coffee to lattes, the flavor and attention to detail is unmatched.
Owned by a family from Nepal, they’ve done a great job blending classic American dishes with traditional Asian cuisine. Their bacon egg & cheese, curry breakfast burrito, and poke bowls are some of the best hangover cures in town.
Snowy Owl
For real coffee snobs, Snowy is one of the few true espresso bars on Cape Cod. From Cold Brew, to Matcha, to Chai and Oak Milk Latte’s, they’ve got it all.
Chatham is their seasonal location, their main hubs are in Brewster and Sandwich. It’s a small shop on a busy street, so don’t be surprised if the service is slow.
Chatham Perk
With a new location on Main street, and the original a few minutes outside of town, you’ll probably end up at Perk’s at some point.
Solid coffee, solid bagels, solid deli sandwiches. A favorite for locals in the offseason - in the summer the line can get hefty…but the demand is warranted - hence the second location.
The Diners
Chatham has a handful of excellent diners (check out our best breakfast list). Don’t expect an oak milk latte or a matcha, but zipping into these spots on a busy morning is a quick way to get a quality cup of joe.

Dunkin Donuts & Cumberland Farms
Really? Dunkins and Cumby’s?
Yes.
In a town full of overpriced coffee and long lines during summer mornings, cheap and quick coffee has a quality all it’s own. As two of the few chains on the lower cape, you know what you’re getting.
